D. Patrick Huyett is a partner at Anapol Weiss who represents plaintiffs in class action, mass tort, and whistleblower matters.

Pat is a leading member of the firm's litigation against Roblox and other online platforms that plaintiffs allege failed to protect children from predators. He represents children and families nationwide in cases against Roblox, Discord, Snap, and TikTok, and he has been at the center of the fight to keep these cases in open court rather than private arbitration. He also plays a significant role in the firm’s representation of Los Angeles County in its litigation against Roblox.

Pat’s practice includes class actions on behalf of consumers and small businesses. He represents the plaintiff and putative class in Uhl v. Roblox Corp., which centers on Roblox’s alleged misrepresentations regarding the safety of its platform for children. He is also one of the lead attorneys representing NYSM Organics LLC and a putative class of small-business food suppliers in litigation alleging unlawful payment practices by United Natural Foods, Inc.

His matters also include litigation against Abbott Laboratories and other defendants concerning necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) suffered by a premature infant after ingesting baby formula. He also represents Lower Merion School District families, alongside the EdTech Law Center, in a federal challenge to the district's decision to repeal a policy allowing parents to opt their children out of school-issued devices.

Before joining Anapol Weiss, Pat was an enforcement attorney at the Federal Trade Commission. There he worked on the agency's case against Martin Shkreli, in which the court banned Shkreli from the pharmaceutical industry for life and found him liable for $64.6 million. He clerked for the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the late Honorable William H. Yohn, Jr. (ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

He began his career at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP defending major corporations in complex litigation, an experience that gave him firsthand insight into how companies build their defenses.

Pat graduated magna cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Pat served as the Executive Editor of the Temple Law Review. Pat earned his B.A. from Dickinson College.

Pat is devoted to community service. He is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Regional Advisory Board for Caron Treatment Centers, a nonprofit that transforms lives impacted by addiction and substance use. He also serves on the board of the nonprofit Be a Part of the Conversation, which equips families and communities in Pennsylvania with skills and resources to understand substance use, addiction, and related health issues.
