Pamela Playo Lin is a Partner at Anapol Weiss in the firm’s Mass Tort Department. Pamela’s practice is focused on pharmaceutical and products liability.

Professional Background

Pamela joined Anapol Weiss as an Associate Attorney in November 2019. In January 2024, she was promoted to Partner with the firm. She works directly with Shareholder, Tracy Finken Magnotta and is currently involved in the following multidistrict litigations:

  • In Re Proton Pump Inhibitor Litigation;
  • In Re Hair Relaxer Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation;

Prior to joining Anapol Weiss, Pamela practiced at two prominent regional personal injury firms where she litigated complex, catastrophic injury cases. Notably, she co-represented two plaintiffs in the Salvation Army Building Collapse case, which resulted in a landmark $227 Million dollar settlement award – which is believed to be one of the largest personal injury settlements in Pennsylvania history. She also co-represented a medical negligence case, which resulted in a 7-figure jury verdict in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic County Vicinage. Pamela also spent over 2 years at a reputable regional defense firm, where she aggressively defended manufacturers of playground and construction equipment, as well as trucking and automotive companies in complex, product liability cases.

Awards & Achievements

For the past 5 consecutive years, Pamela has been consistently named a recipient of the “Ones to Watch” award by the Best Lawyers in America publication. She has also been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers Association as a “Top 40 under 40” attorney, in the civil litigation category. Most recently, Pamela was named by her peers to the 2022 & 2023 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, a distinction given to less than 2.5% of attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Pamela was an invited guest speaker for the New Jersey Association for Justice’s 2022 Meadowlands Seminar and lectured on the topic of Mass Tort Litigation. In 2020, she authored “Can We Stop the Vaping Epidemic During This Pandemic?”, which was published in the Legal Intelligencer.

Legal Education

In 2012, Pamela earned her Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School. While in law school, she was the recipient of the Certificate of Achievement in Trial Advocacy, in recognition of her oral and written advocacy skills. Following her law school graduation, Pamela had the privilege of serving as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph E. Kane, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, for the 2012-13 term.

Pamela is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Association for Justice, as well as the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
