Joel Feldman thinks safety is one of the best presents parents can give their children this holiday season. In an opinion piece published by the Huffington Post, the Anapol Weiss partner writes that this the perfect time of year to commit to driving safer and modeling distraction-free driving for your kids.
The issue of distracted driving is one that is close to Joel’s heart. He and his wife, Dianne Anderson, started EndDD.org to educate the public about the dangers of distracted driving after their daughter was killed by a distracted driver.
With input from experts at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, they developed an interactive, scientifically-guided, evidence-based distracted driving awareness program that integrates health communication, behavioral change and target persuasion principles. The presentation has been seen by 275,000 people in 41 states so far. Presentations have also been delivered by various members of our firm.
