Tito Valdes is a committed attorney specializing in child protection, sexual abuse, and providing trauma-informed advocacy for survivors of crime. With extensive experience in both the Philadelphia Department of Human Services and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, he has built a reputation for excellence in high-stakes litigation and a passion for advancing justice for vulnerable populations.

Throughout his career, Tito has litigated hundreds of bench trials in addition to successfully handling over 35 jury trials to verdict, including significant cases involving the sexual and physical abuse of children, as well as homicides. His expertise in the courtroom is matched by a deep understanding of forensic pathology, DNA analysis, and trauma-informed strategies, enabling him to advocate effectively for victims and hold offenders accountable.

Tito’s cases at Anapol Weiss currently include:

  1. Roblox – Representing families against tech giants like Roblox for their role in enabling the sexual abuse of children who should have been able to trust that their platform would be a safe place to be children.
  2. Alexander Brothers – Fight against the Alexander brothers, real estate moguls who allegedly used their social capital in order to conceal a methodical enterprise of sexual violence.
  3. Rideshare – Holding rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft accountable for the sexual violence levied against their riders.
  4. Juvenile Detention Centers – Advocating for some of society’s most vulnerable, hundreds of men and women formerly in juvenile detention facilities, who experienced sexual abuse while committed to the government’s custody.

Education and Academic Contributions

Tito earned his Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lebanon Valley College. In addition to his legal practice, he has made significant contributions to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University, where he developed curriculum and delivered lectures on critical issues related to race, gender, and sexuality in the legal context. He has also lectured at a myriad of other universities, including Villanova University, St. Joseph's University, Widener University, and Penn State Dickinson School of Law, fostering the next generation of legal professionals.
