Anapol Weiss is proud to congratulate Melissa Hague as the firm’s newest partner.
Melissa has earned a reputation as a diligent and zealous attorney among her peers both locally and nationally. She has dedicated her career to the successful prosecution of complex mass tort cases with a focus on medical devices. In addition to representing hundreds of people injured by defective hip and knee implants, Melissa had an integral role in the resolution of the In re: Human Tissue Products Liability Litigation involving victims who received infected and improperly screened cadaver bone and tissue. Melissa's passion for victims injured as a result of corporate greed and negligence drives her commitment to each individual client and class plaintiffs who have been taken advantage of.
“We have always been struck by the level of passionate representation Melissa provides for severely injured clients and their families,” said firm Shareholder Sol Weiss. “She is a superb multi-tasker and an extremely efficient lawyer. We look forward to our partnership with Melissa in the years to come.”
Melissa was recently appointed by Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV to serve on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in In Re: Zofran (Ondansetron) Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2657, where she will represent the common interests of children born with birth defects as a result of in utero exposure to the medication Zofran. Melissa's passion for justice extends to her active involvement in the American Association for Justice where she serves as the Chair-Elect of the New Lawyers Division, which serves over 4,000 Lawyers who have been practice for 10 years or less.
"There are not many people who have the great fortune of not setting foot anywhere other than one firm since day one out of law school,” Hague said. I have been privileged to call Anapol Weiss home since day one of my career. It has always been my goal to be included among the great trial lawyers at Anapol Weiss. This is an incredibly proud moment in my career and I am honored and distinguished to join this venerable firm as partner."
Anapol Weiss looks forward to Melissa's continued success at the firm and in the courtroom and knows Melissa will be an asset to our clients for decades to come.
